I fly a mapping drone over farms, nurseries, and land across the Upper Cumberland and turn the flight into things you can actually use: an orthomosaic you can measure on, elevation and drainage, a plant count, a before-and-after. The nurseries down the road in McMinnville — three hundred of them — are where I'm starting, because a grower who can count every row from the office on Monday morning is a grower with a different kind of week.
It's a licensed, insured, one-pilot operation, and it's the part of this page that's a business. The business has its own site.
Every flight is also a 3D scan, and a 3D scan is a place you can stand in. I've walked my family's farm in a headset — the barn, the tree line, the pond at golden hour — and my kids have driven a truck through it. The long goal is to hand your great-great-grandchildren the gift of walking the property as it was, and to let you plan the fence, the coop, the garden by standing where it'll be before you dig.
That's the vocation. The mapping pays for the road there.
